Low-moisture encapsulation technique – Provides optimum care for well-maintained carpet at the lowest possible price. Encapsulation is a very low moisture system that uses special compounds to encapsulate soil for easy removal during regular vacuuming.

Advantages of the low-moisture encapsulation technique

  • No water saturation of carpet and padding
  • No risk of damaging carpet or padding from excessive water saturation
  • Dries in 30 minutes
  • Non-toxic and environmentally friendly
  • Will not promote mold or mildew growth
  • Encapsulation compounds continue to remove soil and stains for weeks after service is complete
  • Lowest cost method available
  • Recommended and approved by industry-leading mills including: Beaulieu, Interface, Mannington, Shaw Commercial, Petcraft and Designweave Commercial Carpets and Tandus-Powerbond

Hot-water deep extraction – Provides deep cleaning for excessively soiled or neglected carpets. Using powerful portables allow us to bring the cleaning power directly to the work. Unlike truck-mounts, there is no loss of cleaning power due to long hoses or any risk of carpet or building damage from dragging hoses across your floor.

Advantages of the hot-water deep extraction technique

  • Best method to remove very heavy soil imbedded in carpet fiber
  • Works well on grease or oils such as in a food manufacturing environment
  • But…takes overnight to dry (10 to 15 hours) and frequent uses can shorten the life of the carpet and padding. Also increases the risk of mold and mildew growth.

Cleaning methods to avoid

  • Bonnet/spin pad – Very ineffective method used by many carpet cleaners. This method tends to smear the soil throughout the carpet fibers and risks damaging the carpet.
  • Truck mount deep extraction – Although effective for the residential or small business customer, this method becomes less effective as the distance from the cleaning area to the truck increases. This method is not practical for the larger business or businesses above the ground floor. Also, the long hoses dragged across the floor and around corners add risk of asset damage.
